Meet the Dentist

The dentist's name is Kyaw Kyaw Mg, pronounced as Joe Joe Maung. He was born in Burma in 1971. He immigrated to the USA in 1989 in order to seek out a better life and freedom. During his academic career he has attained many achievements. For instance, he was the Valedictorian of his high school (BEHS No. 4 Ahlone) in 1987, graduated from UCLA with a major in Biochemistry in 1995 and later graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2000. He also completed a two year comprehensive post-graduate program in Orthodontics at the United States Dental Institute in 2011.Ever since he graduated, he has been serving patients in San Gabriel Valley. He spent five years as an associate in different offices. He later founded Polar Dental Care where he has been serving his patients as a solo-practitioner since 2005.Joe Joe Maung’s plan for the future is to continue working for as long as God allows him to because he wants to be able to help people for as long as he can. He fell in love with dentistry as a young man and will continue to love it as the years go by.His interests are Music, Reading, Fine Dining and caring for his family. He married in 2001 and has two daughters.
